Studied drawing and sculpture at Cristina Galvez’s studio (1986-1987) and Fine Arts at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. That year she received the Award for Best Sculptural Piece from Banco de Crédito del Perú, and graduated first of her class. In 1999 she was a finalist in the Passport for an artist contest organized by the French Embassy.
